SCIENCE OF ENERGY AND TIME
Aerodynamics is not a matter of opinion; it is grounded in scientific principles and empirical evidence. By adopting a scientific approach, we can achieve marginal gains that allow cyclists to save both energy and time.

From prototype to pros
How do we test prototypes? During the development phase of a new TT helmet, testing different shapes and configurations is key to finding the perfect balance for a variety of riders' bodies and positions. Our ultimate goal is to create the most efficient helmet for as many riders as possible, without focusing on just one body type. Thanks to our in-house 3D printers, we can evaluate multiple solutions and fine-tune the design. We call this optimization.
Thermal Analysis
How does the thermal test works? The TUBE is equipped with a headform that integrates thermal sensors around its entire crown. The headform is heated to 38°C, which simulates the temperature of the body under strain. We measure the temperature decrease over time; the faster it decreases, the more effectively the internal air channeling is functioning.

SHOULDERS IMPORTANCE
The shoulders are the part of the body that most affects drag and increases the CxA (Coefficient of Aerodynamics). That’s why it’s crucial in wind tunnel testing to evaluate not only the helmet shape but also how the helmet interacts with the rider — the whole system. The TUBE has a dual setup, allowing us to switch between testing with just the headform or with the bike and rider, enabling multiple test scenarios.
